Recently I saw a picture of a New Orleans garden that included a purple painted toilet full of colorful flowers cascading out of it. I absolutely love the idea of taking old modern trash and transforming it into unique and quirky gardening pieces. This is the first of my
trash to garden treasure project I am about to embark on - since the place I have moved to is a usable trash heaven, the kind that makes an artist swoon with delight. The weather is still chilly so I have only planted native succulents and wildflowers in this toilet and decorated it with snail shells, sea shells, native moss, and some magical looking sticks I found in the woods.
