Natural Meditation: Tadpoles!

Tadpoles are one of those things in nature that will suck me in so strong I can barely pull myself away from staring at them. They are as majestic to view as a fantastic far reaching mountain and rival with the fun of watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. They gracefully move around by making ripples with their translucent tail - the tail they are growing into to become some big ole' frogs. What makes it even more amazing is to watch this life cycle happen over time- starting from the bubbles they form in, swimming out into the clumps with their siblings, and eventually striking out on their own to fill the night with a soothing chirp.
(They also remind me of miniature Louisiana catfish!)

Tadpoles, take me away! xoxo

Tadpoles are so amazing. They just are so very zen, I love your pics.

Oh, and in my jealousy over you finding a safe place to live, I actually hit a breakthrough recently in my search! If it works out, I might be posting it on my blog soon (with news about whether the parrots are pleased with the idea, both the move and the new dog that comes with it)

Hey Megan!
I know it, how could anyone not love them, they are so cute - and the adult frogs sit around the puddle or pond standing guard. Too Cute 2 be True.

Meg - !!! I am so glad you got jealous enough to seek a place. I always make a list of exactly what i want when I am ready to move, and whether it sounds hokey or not, i usually get everything on the list. Make a list and it shall come! ;) I can't wait to see what you find- please let me know when you 've got it!
