Because the voodoo woman in me doesn't mind getting this close to a snake (hanging above my head) to take a picture of it.

Wow! A clothes-line? hugging serpent!
Very cool.
It's wild how it's hanging there like a circus snake, with the greatest of ease. Brave, crazy girl you are! We don't have snakes in Hawaii and I am okay fine with that.
I really love the snakes here. That picture is from my first house in Marshall NC, and it was full of snakes. Literally. They were coming down the walls, under the fax machine, on the sofa, on the kitchen counter... hanging over the bed board. They were mostly black snakes which are not poisonous - but some were up to 6 feet long. I saw three other poisonous types in the house too, but baby ones ( diamond back & timber rattler and some striped guy).
I knew when i bought the house it would be like that cause there was a sign on the hot water heater closet that said "open carefully, snake lives on top water heater)!! My boyfriend at the time was pretty nervous about some of them, but i would just turn the lights off and go to sleep. :)
LOL about that sign!
My goodness, at least they let you know.
I am a firm believer that we can co-exist with nature.
WOW! Great shot!
VooDOO woman! You are pure earth!
