My Birthday Wish List 2009

Yay! My birthday is coming up on October 5th and it's a good reminder to make a wish list. I firmly believe that making lists helps make things happen. People keep asking me what I want for my birthday, but usually when I tell them what I really want I get told "um, besides that!"

****
So here is to the universe the things I wish for in my own life:
****

1. A donkey to ride on, so I can travel and have a animal companion to take care of for the next 40 years.

2. Healthy Home - a home free of chems and other toxic stuff, so I can live the most productive life I am capable of. Would be a bonus if I could own it.

3. Cheese Grater (stainless steel)... no really, I would love to have one for grating veggies to add texture variety to my diet.

4. Perfect health!!!!

****
That is it for me... now for my world wide wishes:
****

1. A societal shift away from destructive consumer behavior.

2. Affordable renewable energy sources for everyone.

3. That Monsanto is no longer a seed & food monopoly, but rather is dismantled for their unethical business practices.

4. That every generation being born now is taught about the value and wisdom in nature, and learns to not fear the unknown.

5. That the government of each country begins to regulate and hold accountable what products are being sold to the public as safe.

6. That all building materials become safe & non toxic for homes everywhere.

That's all I can think of for now...
please share your wishes too!!!

XOXO

Amazon is selling perfect health 6 packs for the low, low price of one eternal soul. But I only have 31% of a soul left ...

wait, I just found another 1.3% of a soul jammed under the seats in my car.

Maybe they'll let me break the 6-pack up and buy 2 of them if I ask really nicely.

Erik- LOL, gawd if only it was that easy. That's what got us into the mess in the first place, right?

What'choo talkin' 'bout?

These are perfectly good, organically raised and humanely harvested souls. They have the smiling Grim Reaper face on front.

Well, ya have personal wishes and global ones. Any in-betweens? I dunno, like maybe a little wish for me? I could use some stuff, I just know it. Just let me know ahead of time so I can make some room.

Would it be the manifestation of Satan or God that gives you the open-container ticket for the half-empty can of soul under your car seat? On Saturday night, do have to plan ahead and get a 12-pack to get you through Sunday morning until noon? If you've got a lot of soul tolerance like me, can you get high-gravity soul that isn't too bitter? I must have a problem, the soul doesn't work on me anymore, yet I can't stop seeking it out.

I'm with you, Girl! When will people realise that by supporting the big multi-nationals has a detrimental effect on us all? Consume less, shop ethically(supply and demand) and generally take an active stand I say!

Wishing you a Pre HAPPY BIRTHDAY celebration!

Wonderful lists, Leslie.

We'll see how busy that Wish Fairy is these dazes ... she loves WishMakers.

Happy Solar Return/Happy Birthday coming up, Libra Girl. Coulda guessed you balance the scales.

I wish for:

1. patience
2. a chemical and smoke free community to share and support our vardo-living life
3. restorative sleep
4. being able to live comfortably on the Hawaiian Islands again

Your universal wish list ... I would ditto that with only slight variation. Aloha e Hauoli La Hanau (that would be the birthday wishes in my culture!) Mokihana

Gratuitous - ha! Why ya seeking it when you already are it? ;)

Cosmic - Thanks! And I totally agree- without demand for crap, there'd be no need to make crap. Too bad the advertisements make people think they have a basic American right to have as much crap as possible.

Mokihana- I am a libra :) ... probably a pretty stereotypical one too. Thanks for the birthday wishes and thanks even more for leaving your wishes here. I love reading other people's wishes, it makes me feel happy cause usually at least 50% (or more) of them eventually come true.

Nice wish list :) For the more tangible items on your list (and even the ones that aren't) I'd like to invite you to make your wish list on my site :)
