Designers such as Andrea from Gaia Conceptions makes each item to your order, specifically to your personal measurements - something which cuts out the manufacturing process that has forced many clothing companies to close shop. Gaia Conceptions will be bringing a fabulous range of organic cotton & hemp dresses, skirts, & tops in new colorful low impact dyes plus she will soon showcase her natural dyes she's been working on in her secret lab. :) There will also be a sensual new spring collection from Meadow that includes some of the best eco bikinis I have ever seen plus other organic breezy garments that capture the essence of warm summer days (see pic above!)

Gaia Conceptions: The Beauty Of Organic

Gaia Conceptions is one of the popular eco designers at The Oko Box, and it's no wonder why she is so well loved. Not only are her lush organic designs made to order, meaning to fit your exact measurements- but the simplicity of the design makes each piece something your personality shapes. In other words you make the dress, the dress does not make you - and you can add your personal flare to each piece. The Fall/Winter '08 collection is totally rockin' with perfect layering garments, sexy cuts that aren't too revealing, and made in local organic cotton and hemp blends.
Designer Andrea dyes each piece by hand with low impact dyes, or will leave it natural with no dye. This is a completely fair labor, organic, local and low impact operation - nothing is made that isn't ordered keeping waste to a minimum. New Designs By Gaia Conceptions @ The Oko Box

These are the new gorgeous dresses at The Oko Box by eco designer/artist Gaia Conceptions. The strapless Alladin Dress is made in raw silk...so luxurious I am totally drooling over it. The lovely Kiss Me Dress is made of an organic cotton and hemp fabric blend...designed for that first date kiss. As with all her creations you can have these made to your exact measurements, with no need to worry. You'll get the perfect dress with the perfect fit. So Dreamy.

Wowsers Jolene looks super sexy and gorgeous in her Love Me Two Times organic cotton dress by Gaia Conceptions! This was Jolene's second purchase from The Oko Box, the first being the beloved Bamboo Cowl Neck Dress (which is nearly sold out in lemon yellow and a few left in black.) Gaia Conceptions makes beautiful garments to order based on either the chosen size or your exact measurements. Not only that but she uses locally grown and milled organic cotton and the whole production is done lovingly by hand here in the USA (specifically North Carolina). Once made each piece is hand dyed with low impact colors which have a vibrant yet soft hue. I think this purple might be my favorite! Thanks Jolene for sharing your beautiful pic with us :)
