White Moth with Black Spots

Freaking beautiful! I haven't seen one like this in many many years... maybe since i lived in Baton Rouge, LA.

It's like a white cheetah, or leopard! Anyone want to ID this moth, and what it's caterpillar looks like too??

  6. I just found one like this in our garage!!! I stare at bugs all the time and havent seen one like this before! We are in Knoxville Tn :)

  13. I've found two recently in nc, they are beautiful. It does look like it is a giant leopard moth. Just Google and browse through images; some look different then others

  14. I found one in the parking lot of my church in Burleson, TX. Couldn't quite decide, but think it is the OKo moth.

Just found one crawling across the concrete mid day (I thought his wings were damaged because they had no color or powder on the ends of it's wings) so I put a stick down and let him crawl on it and put him on a shady peach tree out back where he wouldn't bake in the N.C. August sun. He's been there for 3 days.
