My good friend Mark lives on that side of Madison County and was nice enough to run over there and check her out first for me (he took these pictures with his son at hand so she could be kid approved)....
the donkey who is as beautiful as a pastel calico cat, who is not overweight, who doesnt buck if you sit on her back, who is easily guided to where you want her to go, who lets children pet her, and two kids ride her bare back at the same time in a pasture....
the donkey who has no name.
ISN'T she adorable and uniquely pErTy? Her spots are like a snow leopard! I love her!!
And she is gonna be my BFF for , oh say the next 30 or 40 years :)))))))) I am so excited I could explode into a million bits of love.

ReplyDeleteOr there is always the First Ride Rule.
Spirit, because she is a gentle spirit, or Genesis which has a metaphorical connection with the Luck cabin experience.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the First Ride Rule is not a name, but a naming convention I used to name my bikes. On the first ride, something always happened that gave the bike a name; Slappy, Sun Dog, Cricket, toecracker, etc.
Jackie...(Jackass :)
ReplyDeleteHA- ya'll are coming up with good names.
ReplyDeleteI want to make a sign to hang behind her, saying "GRASS NOT GAS".
or maybe ASS NOT GAS.
She's beautiful! I love the dappled gray. So happy for you! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Susie! You know how long I have planned this- i guess it's been a year of hard planning, and a few years in the wishing department. I can't wait to take her on trail walks with me. :))))
ReplyDelete"She's beautiful! I love the dappled gray"
ReplyDeleteDappleganger
And "Ass not grass" was taken, I saw that painted on somebody's back at Madison's World Naked Bike Ride
Lou Cheese- LoL.
ReplyDeleteI think you need a pet.... you have all those air filters in your house, maybe you can get a bird? A cat? A hamster? Anything so you can name it! You are so good at coming up with witty names :)))
BTW- my naming rule is to NEVER EVER name it something that can happen to it.
ReplyDeleteThink about it.
I have it that turn out bad.
