By popular demand I took more pictures of the big hairy pig who eats my food scraps. I am told he loses his hair in the summer - going for the handsome bald look, his breed is pot belly (they don't stay small ya'll), he loves himself some rice and beans, he put his nose on an electric fence and is now scared to go out of his pen, and he is not for eating (vegans & vegetarians can breathe a sigh of relief!)He has a repulsive and adorable quality, and if you can adjust to the rotten poop smell and the snorting (the lightly repulsive) you'll fall in love with that smile (the cuteness)... it's kind of like acquiring a taste for cottage cheese or beer or whatever.
XOXO
What's the status of the teeth? Will he have to have them pulled or cracked so they don't pierce his jowls? Didn't the saber toothed tiger have a similar issue?
ReplyDeleteHe's a total cutie:)
Hey Noel!
ReplyDeleteBort told me that they have to get them clipped/cut because they will grow right into his face. I can not imagine what evolutionary purpose having your teeth grow into your face would serve, or is it really a mistake by nature common throughout an entire breed?
Sort of like the MAnx cats breeding spinal problems?!
he is cute when he smiles. :)
Yeah, we are going to have the vet out soon, they use wire to cut them off. He will get quite ugly and loose his hair in patches but when his new short hair comes in he is soooo handsome! I miss him :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks pretty happy.
ReplyDeletesooooo cute. you are living my dream life.
ReplyDeleteGretta- Do we get to keep the tusks they cut off?
ReplyDeleteLou Cheese - he seems mostly happy, but good gawd this morning he was humping a log. And that was awkward. lol
Supayana - aw- thanks...I have been away from rural living for about 2 years now, and I feel like now I am finally back where I belong. I would recommend this to anyone, it's never dull.
